Ok, I've blogged about changing my hair before, last time was here, and now I'm finally ready to just go for it. I've thought about ombre for a long time and have always chickened out last minute. Now, I want to eventually darken my hair up a little bit closer to my natural color (dark blonde/light brunette), but I'm not ready for a full on plunge. So I've found a great example of what I'd like to shoot for to ease the pain change.
Here's my example:
Perfect right? I love that it's very subtle, it's not black/white ombre, but super gradual and natural looking.

I absolutely love it! I had platinum blonde hair in August and once September hit I wanted it dark for the fall! Hilary was my inspiration and I took the big jump and darkened my hair a lot!!! I loved it! 4 months later, I did decided to have some blonde added back near the root but I'm still not light and I love it too! I think you should go for it!!

I think the Hilary's hair is the perfect subtle ombre. It doesn't look like a hair dye grown out, so I think it's great! Post pics when you do it!

I just got my hair ombred. I love it! Be prepared to be terrified while they're doing it. They tease each section before they put the color on to make it appear more natural. I'm sure yours will look wonderful once you get it done!

You know I will rock this look until it is dead in the water. I have done subtle and more dramatic and loved both. It is the BEST thing for people with dark blonde hair. I am so glad i did it and I think you will to! Good luck!
PS. I met Hilary's hair colorist. She charges $3000. Think on that...
